Thanks to the generosity of our attendees and supporters, the SIMA Environmental Fund has now raised more than $10 million through the Waterman’s Gala, SIMA Industry Luau and the #SurfCleanOceans campaign. These funds will continue to support organizations that work tirelessly to protect our oceans, beaches, and waves. As our oceans face increasing threats, this collective effort is more important than ever.
The evening was a celebration of those who have made extraordinary contributions to our culture and the ongoing battle to preserve our oceans. The success of this event is a testament to the surf industry's dedication to making a tangible difference.
“We are deeply grateful to everyone who attended and contributed to this year’s Waterman's Ball,” said Vipe Desai, SIMA Executive Director. “This level of support ensures that the SIMA Environmental Fund can continue its vital work. Together, we move forward and upward, committed to safeguarding the ocean we all cherish.”
